-   Our renovation company "Bronte Interior & Construction" will resolve the problem. You may request our trained, experienced builder(s) to come for a site visit. We can create a platform over the air-well area with metal structure & cover the flooring with quality plywood.

-   The roof structure of most houses is made from timber trusses. We can send our experienced builder(s) to check on the strength of your home's existing timber truss. We can add on plywood top directly if the timber truss is strong enough to support the new flooring or we can enhance the strength by adding additional supports before putting on new plywood flooring.

7. What is the size of an attic normally?
-  We suggest a minimum of 100 sf to make the conversion worthwhile. It can be large, up to 400 s.f. or even larger depending on the existing roof space available and the size you desire.

8. How much will it cost for a roof conversion?
-   The cost depends on the existing roof structure conditions and also the level of finishing details required. Our renovation company will charge start around RM 7,500.00 for an average size of 100 sf floor area. This is assumed that your existing wood truss support strength is sufficient. This package includes:

       100 sf. Water proofing plywood
       A stainless steel attic ladder
       Plastic flooring
       A stainless steel safety handrail
       1 x light point with a fluorescent light
       1 x 13A power socket point
       1 x wall exhaust fan

Please keep in mind that a similar sized ground floor extension will cost at least RM15,000.00

9. How long does it take to install the attic ladder?
-   It normally takes 1 to 2 days, depending on site conditions. Our installer must have a site visit 1st before we deliver and install the ladder.

10. Do you supply to areas other than KL / Selangor?
